Title: Assistant Coach

Kei’yana “KP” Dillard is excited to enter her first year as an assistant coach with Cosumnes River College Women’s Basketball program. Coach KP will be assisting with scouting opponents, player's skill development, and recruitment. 

 

Coach KP was born and raised in South Sacramento and graduated from Valley High School in 2011 where she started all four years on the girl's varsity basketball team. From 2014-2016, Coach KP attended and played for Columbia College in Missouri. While playing at Columbia College, her team never suffered a "losing" season!  Her first year at Columbia, they went 49-17 and in her second/final season at Columbia, they started the season with a 25-1 record while setting numerous records and ranked as high as third in the country.  After finishing out the 2015-2016 season 27-6, Coach KP was an Honorable Mention for All-Conference.


Coach KP graduated from Columbia College in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in General Studies with minors in Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy. In 2017, she returned to obtain her Masters from Central Methodist University. Coach KP graduated with her Masters of Education with an emphasis in Athletic Administration in 2019.

 

Currently, Coach KP works for Improve Your Tomorrow as a Program Manager and helps to assist Sacramento Kings' legend Bobby Jackson as a Developmental Coach and Membership Specialist for the Bobby Jackson Basketball Academy

 

Fun Fact: Coach KP spends as much time as possible with her husband Jobe Dillard IV and their daughters Kyla and Kai Dillard. The family lives and breathes BASKETBALL and Coach KP is beyond excited to get back to what she knows, enjoys, and loves!!
