The 2020 season is Coach Randy Wong’s third season on Coach Don Mico’s coaching staff with the CRC Baseball program. Coach Wong assists with hitters, outfielders, and coaches the bases. Last season, Coach Wong helped the Hawks reach the Super Regional round of the State Playoffs.

 

Coach Wong was a former outfielder and 4-year letterwinner for the Stanford Cardinal under long-time head coach Mark Marquess. Coach Wong is 5th in Stanford baseball history for career walks, and tied for 10th for most walks in a season. Coach Wong brings a wealth of knowledge of the game to Coach Mico’s staff.

When he is not at the field or in the office, Coach Wong is an avid outdoorsman. He is married to his wife, Jayne, and has four children. Coach Wong has three daughters (Cori, Steffi, and Kiki), and a son (Aaron) who plays baseball at Chapman University where he helped lead the Panthers to the 2019 NCAA Division III National Championship. Coach Wong also has a grandson named Ryder.
