Cosumnes River Hawks (5-1) lose their first game of the year to Shasta College (2-3). The Hawks offense was finally slowed down by Shasta, as Burle Dixon was the only Hawk to reach base more than once. The Hawks couldn't come up with the big hit they needed in this game leaving 11 runners on base. The Hawks will look to rebound from this loss with a 3 game series against Lassen College (5-3). The first game will be Friday at 2pm, followed by a double header saturday.
