Cosumnes River Hawks (6-1) came back to life, scoring 14 runs to beat Lassen College (5-4) on Friday afternoon. Josh Congress gets his 2nd win of the season, giving up no hits through 3 innings. The Hawks bullpen of Daniel Vitoria, Timmy Tarrant, and Kyle Galart shut Lassen down the rest of the game.
Offensively, the Hawk's John Treat and Clay Duval gave a boost providing 3 hits each. The Hawks had a team total of 12 hits. Burle Dixon added 2 hits and 2 stolen bases on the day. The Hawks will have a long day tomorrow as they will play a double header.
