The Cosumnes River Hawks (8-4) lose a tough close game to College of the Sequoias (6-5). The Hawks got a great start out of freshman Josh Caldwell. Caldwell, handed the ball to Veteran Daniel Vitoria with a 3-2 lead. Vitoria had two clean innings of work as they headed into the bottom of the 9th. College of the Sequioas started the inning off with a double of the wall followed by a double down the line. Then in walk off fashion, they singled up to middle to win the game.
The Hawks will look to recover from 2 losses to Sequoias on Sunday at noon.
