The Cosumnes River Hawks (15-16, 5-10 Big 8) lose another close game to Sierra college (21-6, 10-2 Big 8) 3 to 6. Burle Dixon was the only Hawk to really get it going offensively with two hits plus an RBI. The pitching lead by Josh Caldwell gave the Hawks a chance in the contest.
The Hawks started to rally late, scoring 2 runs in the top of the 8th inning. Pancratz walked to start a rally in the top of the 9th. This was followed by a Dean single and a Dixon walk. The go ahead run walked to the plate and struck out to end the game.
