The Cosumnes River College Hawks (18-20, 8-14 Big 8) win big in the first game against Modesto College (16-22, 5-17 Big 8) 14 to 0. Josh Congress has a big day with 10 strike outs in 6 innings. This win gave Congress his 7th of the season putting him up amongst the leaders in the Big 8.
Alex Crouch, Aaron Pierce and Mark Aubrey led the offense Tuesday with 3 hits each. The Hawks bats were hot Tuesday as they put up 14 runs. The Hawks will continue their playoff run thursday at Modesto College.
