The Cosumnes River Hawks (18-21, Big 8, 8-15) lose in a close battle against the Modesto Pirates (17-22, Big 8, 6-17) 3 to 7. The Hawks led the game until the 7th inning lead by Veteran John Treat. Treat had his best start of the season going 6 and 1/3 innings.
The Hawks lost the game late with some defensive blunders. The Hawks had no RBI's in the contest. The Hawks look to bounce back Friday to end the regular season at Conway Field.
