Hawks Alumni Contribute to Diamondbacks Success
With the Major League Baseball playoffs currently hitting their stride, Baseball Weekly recently did a report on the schools that have helped the current playoff teams in hopes for a World Series title.
In the midst of that report, Baseball Weekly writer Teddy Cahill wrote this:
Cosumnes River (Calif.) JC is the lone junior college to have multiple alumni on division series rosters. D-backs teammates David Hernandez and Kristopher Negron both went straight from Cosmunes River to pro ball.
Hernandez had a 3.11 ERA with 52 strikeouts with 2 saves this past season. Negron averaged .160 with 1 RBI this past season.
