SACRAMENTO (2-28) - Hawks take conference opener. CRC beats SCC 5-2 to open their Big 8 play.
Josh Caldwell would start on the mound for the Hawks. Caldwell put in 6 innings of work and recorded 6 strike outs and only give up 2 runs. Joe Pankratz would come on in relief and earn the save for the Hawks. Pankratz worked 3 innings and recorded 3 strike outs.
Jeremy Kolb had 2 RBIs on the day. Clay Duval, Alex Crouch, and EJ Brown all added RBIs. Brett Graber, Griffin Selby, and Burle Dixon Jr. all contributed hits to the efforts of the CRC offense.
Josh Caldwell was the winning pitcher with Joe Pankratz earning the save.Tanner Cunha was the losing pitcher.
Hawks take on the Panthers tomorrow at Conway Field.
