ROCKLIN (3-15) – The Hawks traveled to Rocklin for the third game of their Big 8 Conference series with Sierra College. The Wolverines defeated the Hawks 12-3 to win the season series 3-0.
The Hawks were held to three hits Friday. Alex Crouch, Dean Lucas and Griffin Selby had a hit apiece. Brett Graber had an RBI sacrifice fly. Greg Creamer and Crouch had the other RBIs.
Brian Freitas started on the mound for the Hawks. Joey Pankratz, Kyle Galart, Owen Hunt and Griffin Selby all worked in relief.
Grant Woodside earned the win for the Wolverines and Freitas was the losing pitcher for the Hawks.
The Hawks will travel to Redding to take on Shasta College on Tuesday.
