Tony Champion is returning for his 4^th season at Cosumnes River College as an assistant coach.

Previously, Coach Champion was an assistant at Christian Brothers High School and Galt High School for Brian Chavez.  Champion has been coaching basketball since 2001 while still playing collegiate basketball at Sacramento State.  He has coached and trained players from the youth to collegiate level. His CRC responsibilities include leading post player development, running strength and conditioning workouts, as well as assist in practice planning, on-floor coaching, scouting, and recruiting.

Tony resides in South Sacramento with fiancée Liz, step-daughter Ariana, and daughters Alena and Alicia.
