Folsom Lake scored a goal in the 67th minute and that was it for the Falcons as they raised their record to 2-1 in Big 8 play and 5-2-2 overall while the Hawks dropped to 2-2 in conference and 5-6 for the season.

"A tough way to lose a game", noted Coach Ron Preble. 

Goalie Antonio Welch had seven saves in the eight chances he faced against FLC, as his goals-against average dropped to 1.83 on the season. The Hawks were out shot by the Falcons by an 8-3 marging for the match.

Next up for the Hawks is road game against San Joaquin Delta on Friday at 2pm. The Mustangs are 0-2-2 in conference play and 5-4-2 overall on the season.
