With several one on ones not producing any scoring for the Hawks it was a frustrating afternoon as the Hawks and Pirates played to a scoreless draw on the CRC pitch on Friday.

Antonio Welch stopped seven shots on goal for the Hwaks on the afternoon as he dropped his goals against average to 1.44 on the season and 1.33 in Big 8 play.

The Hawks drop to 2-2-2 on Big 8 action and are behing American River and Folsom Lake who are both 3-3 in conference play. The Hawks are 7-7-3 overall on the season.

Next up for the Hawks is a 3 pm Tuesday afternoon match here at CRC against Folsom Lake who the Hawks need to leapfrog for a better seeding as playoffs are just around the corner.
