(Sacramento)- Missed chances sum up the Hawks performance in their Big 8 conference match against Delta.
The Hawks had a chance to take the lead in the first half when #3 Ethan Krebs lobbed effort was just a bit too high sailing over the bar. But it was Delta who scored 3 minutes into the second half stunning the Hawks to take the early 1-0 lead.
However, #8 Ivan Guteriez leveled the score three minutes later after as he beat four Mustang defenders before slotting it past the keeper. Both teams shared opportunities to score with the Hawks outshooting the Mustangs 9-7.After this results the harks are still in second at 4-2-2 with two matches left to go.
Next up for the Hawks is a 3 pm Tuesday away match at Modesto Junior College.
