Hawks Draw 0-0 With Crush

CLOVIS (10-12) – The Hawks traveled to Clovis to take on Clovis Community College in the second of four non-conference matches in a span of two weeks. The Hawks played to a 0-0 draw with the Crush.

In the first half, the Hawks dominated from the beginning dictating tempo and had eight shots, five of which were on goal.

In the second half, the match was played at a back and forth pace. In the 60th minute, Daniel Ramirez was fouled in the penalty area resulting in a penalty kick. Lincoln Carvalho tucked the ball away into the corner but Crush goalkeeper Mark Davilla outstretched his arms to get a touch on the ball and he made the big save. The Hawks registered nine second-half shots with six on goal.

Alexis Jacobo-Trejo made three saves in the draw.

The next match for the Hawks is Tuesday as they take on Fresno Community College in Fresno. Kickoff is set for 4 pm.
