The Hawks faced an experienced Reedley team and were defeated despite a notable effort by Abiel 
Lacandazon.   In spite of his cramping quadriceps, Lacandazon crawled out of an early deficit to nearly force a third set.  His teammates rallied to support him as he grimaced between points. Coach Brandon Ellis was clear, "Abiel Lacandazon had a great effort, he played his heart out, despite having painful leg cramps."
