Rams Top Hawks 6-3

SACRAMENTO (2-12) - Cosumnes River returned home as they took on Fresno City College in Sacramento. The Rams won four of the six singles matches that were played and won the match 6-3.

The Rams won four singles matches while the Hawks won two. In the #1 singles match between Kien Dang of Cosumnes River and Michael Simmons of Fresno City, Dang defeated Simmons 6-0, 6-1. In the #4 singles match between Mac Samson of the Hawks and Christian Power of the Rams, Samson defeated Power 7-5, 6-0. In the #2 singles match between Chia Vang of Cosumnes River and Steven Blancas of Fresno City, Blancas defeated Vang 6-0, 6-1. In the #3 singles match between Kyle Lopez of the Hawks and Bryce Winteroud of the Rams, Winteroud defeated Lopez 6-2, 6-3. In the #5 singles match between Kee Thao of Cosumnes River and Bee Vang of Fresno City, Vang defeated Thao 6-3, 6-3. The tightest singles match was the #6 singles match between Steven Vang of the Hawks and Luke Tomolchoff of the Rams. Tomolchoff defeated Vang 7-5, 4-6, 11-9.

The Rams won two doubles matches while the Hawks won one. In the #1 doubles match between Dang and Lopez of Cosumnes River and Simmons and Winteroud of Fresno City, Dang and Lopez defeated Simmons and Winteroud 8-0. In the #2 doubles match between Thao and C. Vang of the Hawks and Blancas and Power of the Rams, Blascas and Power defeated Thao and C. Vang 8-4. The tightest doubles match was the #3 doubles match between Samson and S. Vang of Cosumnes River and Tarinay and Vang of Fresno City. Tarinay and Vang defeated Samson and S. Vang 9-8 (11-9).
