Aimee Hutchinson's strong performance on the mound gave the Hawks breathing room to hand Sac City College their first conference loss in a 6-0 win at CRC Stadium. Hutchinson gave up 4 hits and struck out 9 in route to her shutout of Sac City.

The Hawks offense handed out 11 hits and scored in every inning but the 5th inning. Amber Wright went 3 for 4 on the day with 1 RBI as well as Kaitlin Pires going 3 for 4. Brenda Velasquez went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI and Raechel Hooper added 2 RBIs.

Hutchinson picked up her 13 win of the season.

The Hawks move to 4-2 in conference and 20-5 overall.
