Game 1

The Hawks grabbed an early lead on its way to a 4-2 victory over Monterey Peninsula on Friday. 

Brittany Baroni earned the win for the Hawks. She went seven innings, giving up two runs, five hits, and striking out two. 

The Hawks collected 7 hits. Alexus Acosta, Courtney Beatty, and Miranda Rodriguez each collected multiple hits for the Hawks. Beatty lead the Hawks at the plate going 3-3 and Chelsea Martinez collected 2 RBI's.

Game 2

The Hawks beat Cabrillo 5-3 in game 2. Ashleigh Berg earned the win for the Hawks. She pitched six innings, allowing three runs, seven hits, striking out two, and walking one.

Home runs for the Hawks came when Chelsea Martinez and Taelor Ford homered in the third inning. Alexus Acosta went 2 for 3 at the plate.

The Hawks will play 2 games Saturday in Monterey and then return home to face Feather River at CRC Stadium on Feb 3rd.
