The Hawks exploded in game 1 at Modesto College with 22 hits to produce 21 runs to beat Modesto 21-2 in 5 innings, but game 2 Modesto was able to hold The Hawks to 10 hits and 3 runs with The Hawks committing 3 errors to upset The Hawks 6-3. 

On the day, Chelsea Martinez hit .875 with 6 RBIs and 1 home run, Miranda Rodriguez hit .750 with 5 RBIs, Courtney Beatty hit .625 with 7 RBIs, and Taelor Ford hit .571 with 3 RBIs.

Brittany Baroni picked up the win in game 1 going 5 innings giving up 3 hits, striking out 3 and allowing 1 earned run. Chelsea Martinez picked up the loss in game 2 going 2 1/3 innings giving up 6 hits, striking out 2 and allowing 2 earned runs. Ashleigh Berg came in relief to throw 3 2/3 innings giving up 4 hits, striking out 3 and allowing 1 earned run.
