Modesto jumped on top in the 1st inning scoring 1 unearned run. Which will be the only run Modesto scored on the day.
Looking to get back the run Amber Wright walked and was knocked in by a Korina Krueg double. Ashlee Kaiser is then hit by a pitch. With Runners on 1st and 2nd Veronica Smith hits a double off the top of the fence scoring 2. Following up is Taelor Ford with a single. With runners on 1st and 3rd Cecilia Rivera doubled scoring Veronica Smith. Hawks lead the Pirates 4-1.
Once again the Hawks are able to score big in the 2nd inning. Leading off is Amber Wright with a double to center. It is then followed up with a single by Korina Krueg. Ashlee Kaiser singled in Amber Wright and moved Korina Krueg to third. With runners on 1st and 3rd the Hawks are able to manufacture a run. Hawks leading 6-1 with 1 out and nobody on Veronica Smith is able to get the inning going again by drawing a walk. Taelor Ford gets on from an error. With two outs Hannah Flynn singles to right field scoring Veronica Smith and Taelor Ford.
After a 1, 2, 3 inning by Gabriella Montaie the Hawks look to add to their lead. Cassandra Thomas singled to lead off the inning, after stealing 2nd and advancing to third on an error on the same play Amber Wright grounded out to score Thomas. A pair of singles off the bats of Korina Krueg and Ashlee Kaiser leads to a sacrifice fly from Veronica Smith. Hawks lead 10-1
Gabriella Montaie led off the 4th inning with a single, followed by singles from Kylee Boykin and Amber Wright. With bases loaded, Korina Krueg hits a sacrifice fly. Looking for another big hit Ashlee Kaiser doubled scoring Kylee Boykin and Amber Wright. Hawks Lead 13-1

The Hawks look to win game 2 of the day to sweep the Pirates. Ashleigh Berg started off the first inning the right way facing the minimum. In the bottom of the 1st Amber Wright walked, and is driven in on an Ashlee Kaiser single. The Hawks are able to plate one more run on a Taelor Ford single. Hawks lead 2-0
Hawks are able to push 1 across in the 3rd Korina Krueg, Ashlee Kaiser single and Korina Krueg scored on a Cecilia Rivera Single.
Once again in the 4th CRC looks to add to their lead. Cassandra Thomas singled and steals 2nd Thomas scores on a Korina Krueg single. Ashlee Kasier walks with runners on 2nd and 3rd Taelor Ford doubles knocking in two runs and. Hawks lead 7-0
This would be the end of the scoring for the Hawks in game two.
Going into the 7th inning Ashleigh Berg had yet to give up a hit. With two outs in the 7th Modesto is able to break up the no-hitter. But Berg is able to close out the game.
