Game 1 CRC 2 ARC 10
Dispite Amber Wright and Korina Krueg going 2-3 and the Hawks having bases loaded twice they are unable to beat ARC and get run ruled in 5 innings.
Gabrielle Montaie takes the loss going 1 inning giving up 2 hits walking 2 and giving up 3 runs. Ashleigh Berg pitched 2.1 innings giving up 5 hits, 3 walks striking out 1 and gave up 6 runs. Kylee Boykin came in for 1 inning giving up 3 hits, 1 walk and only 1 run.
Game 2 CRC 10 ARC 3
Looking to bounce back after a tough game 1 the Hawks bats come alive in the top of the 5th inning. Leading the inning off Ashleigh Berg and Cassandra Thomas single. They are moved to 2nd and 3rd on an Amber Wright bunt single. With the bases loaded the Hawks finally get the big hit off the bat of Korina Krueg who triples to clear the bases. Trying to extend the lead Taelor Ford singles driving in Krueg. Ford is able to advance to 2nd on a wild pitch and is driven in on a Cecilia Rivera Single. Hawks lead ARC 5-1
Once again in the 6th Ashleigh Berg starts off the inning by walking, she is moved to 2nd on a Thomas sac bunt and then moved to third on a Amber Wright single. Korina Krueg singles scoring Berg and moving Wright to 3rd. With bases loaded Veronica Smith walks giving the Hawks their 7th run of the game. Taelor Ford grounds into a flders choice pushing the 8th run across the plate.
In the top of the 7th the Hawks take advantage of a 2 out error that puts Cassandra Thomas on 2nd. Thomas is driven in on an Amber Wright single who then moves to 2nd on the throw to the plate. Korina Krueg's bat stays alive and she singles giving the Hawks their 10th and final run of the game.
ARC battled and score 2 more runs in the bottom of the 7th but Montaie is able to close the door on ARC.
