Olympians shut down Hawks 56-49.

The cold spell invaded the Santa Ana tournament for the Hawks shooters on Friday as they shot just 27 percent from the floor against Mesa's 40 percent night and that included getting five less baskets on the night.

Trina Shaner was the leading scorer for the Hawks with 12 points despite of being just 3-18 from the field. Shaner had the Hawks only two three-point field goals against the Olympians.

Gina Ingravallo had 11  for the Hawks being the only other player in double figures. Daija Ward only had 3 points but contributed 12 rebounds for the Hawks.

QuoQuese Jackson may have had her breakout game of the season with 5 points and 7 rebounds as well as having 2 steals. 

The Hawks drop to 2-4 on the year and have a couple days off before playing Feather River College in their opening game of the Solano Tournament at Solano Community College. Friday's game time is at 4 pm.
