CRC trailed Sierra by just 34-30 at the half and everything seemed to be going well and then the second half caved in. The Wolverines doubled up on the Hawks by a 36-18 score in the 3rd and 4th periods and upended the Hawks by the 68-48 final score.

Jasmine Chapman led the Hawks with 13 points while Daija Ward followed with another solid outing as she had 11 points and 7 rebounds in the losing cause.

Akila Britton and Taneisha Dyer each added 6 points with Dyer grabbing 6 boards as well. Nayani Gordon chipped in with 5 points and matched Ward's team high 7 rebounds.

The loss drops the Hawks to 5-13 overall and 1-4 in Big 8 play.
