Hawks Struggle at Home; Fall to Vikings To End Home Stand

Sacramento, CA- After having their bye on Tuesday, the Hawks took the court against Diablo Valley College looking for a change of fortune. Falling behind early, the Hawks were unable to mount a comeback against the visiting Vikings. The Hawks came into the game with 7 players dressed. In the first quarter, Yazmine Trevizo was injured and was unable to return to the game. One Hawk, Erica Oswald came in injured and was only available for short stints during the game. Quoquese Jackson fouled out in the 4th quarter which forced the shorthanded Hawks to finish the game with only 5 players.

Brookelyn Larkin lead the Hawks with 19 points during the game. Trina Shaner contributed 13 points to the Hawk's offensive attack. Micaela Dagler pulled down 11 rebounds to lead Cosumnes River down low. Quoquese Jackson was right behind her with 10 rebounds.

Up Next- The Hawks ended their home stand and now go on the road. Cosumnes River College heads to Folsom Lake College to take on the Falcons on Tuesday. Game time for the upcoming matchup will be 7:30 PM.
