Hawks Unable to Defeat Cross-Town Sacramento City College on Coaches vs Cancer Night

Sacramento, CA- Cosumnes River College traveled up highway 99 to take on Sacramento City College on Tuesday night. The Hawks struggled to find a consistent offensive rhythm by shooting a combined 28.4% from the field. On the defensive end, the Hawks tallied 11 steals compared to the 5 from the Panthers. Cosumnes also only had 10 turnovers as opposed to the 19 they forced from the Panthers.

Brookelyn Larkin once again lead the Hawk offensive attack with 21 points during the game. Along with her 21 points, she also came down with 6 rebounds, 4 of which were offensive rebounds. Trina Shaner added 19 points of her own on the night, and also posted 4 steals, matching Larkin's steal total as well.

Up Next- The Hawks return home this Friday for their last home game of the season. Cosumnes River College will take on Santa Rosa Junior College at 7:30 on Clark Court.
