Even with the Las Positas Hawks playing in the CRC end much of the first half it really was a back and forth game. The game was pretty even with each team scoring once.

For our Hawks, Maya Kitt scored in the 31st minute with an assist from Andera Story after a scramble at the LPC goal mouth. Las Positas came back and scored in the 38th minute when Britni Myhre without an assist evened the score at one as the first half ended that way.

In the second half Britni Myhre scored in the 54th minute and LPC added another in the 90th minute by Yessica Morales with an assist from Aimee Ryan.

For CRC, Elizabeth Kowlaczyk had four saves on seven shots on goal. For the game the two teams shot totals were identical at 10 as our Hawks were outshot 8-6 in the first half, only to put more pressure on in the second half and out shooting LPC 4-2, but being blanked in the second half.

Next up for the Hawks will be a match on Friday at the Las Positas Tournament when they take on Evergreen College at 11:30 in the morning followed by a game on Sunday a 3:00 against East Los Angeles also in the Las Positas Tournament.
