The Hawks evened their record in the Big 8 at 4-4-1 and 6-6-3 overall as they strive to stay in contention for for playoff action.

Lauren Azevedo scored the Hawks lone goal in the 40th minute on a free kick from about 20 yards out. The ball hit the crossbar and then bounced off the Falcons goalkeeper into the goal for the ultimate game winner.

Folsom Lake out shot the Hawks by a 8-4 margin with seven shots coming in the first half.

It may have the weather with the rain, but the game was pretty chippy as there were five yellow cards and two red cards between the two teams on the day.
