After defeating Sac City in late September by a 5-0 margin the Hawks hoped they would be able to dominate the Panthers, this time on the road. The final score might have been a little surprising considering that the hottest scorer lately, Averen Calvin didn't have a goal at all.

No matter for the Hawks.

Elizabeth Kowalczyk, playing in the field for the Hawks scored her first goal of the year in the 8th minute off a pass from Anna Ottley. Ottley's assist was her fifth on the year.

Like clockwork, in the 15th minute the Hawks struck again as Andrea Story deposited a ball in the net for her seventh goal on the season. Talia Piombo had the assist on Story's goal, her first assist of the year.

10 minutes later Brianna Heilman hit paydirt for the Hawks with her first goal of the season, off a Story assist which is her seventh of the season.

10 Minutes later Brianna Zamora-Morgan also lodged her first goal of the season into the Panthers goal. Ariel Klink had the assist, her first of the year. Zamora-Morgan's goal put the halftime score at 4-0 for the Hawks.

In the second half it was more Hawks scoring as in the 60th minute Zamora-Morgan tallied her second goal of the game, and the season, with an assist from Yvonne Taylor. The assist of Taylor's was the second of the season for the Hawks 2-sport athlete.

The Hawks ended the scoring in the 80th minute with Ariel Klink's seventh goal of the season. Zamora-Morgan assisted on Klink's goal which was her first assist of the season.

Lupita Fierros had the shutout for the Hawks facing just 2 shots on goal from the Panthers.

With the victory the Hawks are now 8-7-5 overall this season and they are 6-5-3 in the Big 8 conference, in a three team mix for the fourth spot.

Next up for the Hawks is a home game against Modesto Jr College next Tuesday the 8th here at CRC at 3pm.
