Garcia and Bradford Score As Hawks Tie On The Road

Fairfield, Calif. Taya Bradford's goal in the 71st minute of the game helped the Hawks draw 2-2 against Solano Community College.

The scoring was started off by freshman forward Helaina Garcia scoring her first goal of the season in the 25th minute of the game. The goal was created by a phenomenal through ball by Bailey Bradford that lead to the game being tied up 1-1 going into half time. Sienna Jackson helped the Lady Hawks by having 3 big saves in the first half. 

After falling behind in the 2nd half 1-2 the Lady Hawks kept fighting and competing at a high level. They created many chances and were kept in the game by 2 2nd half saves by sophomore goal keeper Tanayjah Tamano. As the game entered the final 20 minutes sophomore midfielder Taya Bradford scored the equalizer in the 71st minute off a Helaina Garcia assist.

The Lady Hawks are now (0-1-1) headed into the 3rd match of the season. On Wednesday September 4th the Lady Hawks will travel to Lake Tahoe to take on the  LTCC Coyotes.
