Women's Match: Missing two players due to injury, the Hawks fought valiantly against a tough Modesto opponent. The entire Hawks line up improved from their previous meeting with the Pirates, especially D'lyn Garcia played a tough baseline game, peppering groundstrokes against her opponent and playing deftly on defense, forcing a more experienced opponent deep into the match.

Upcoming:  The Women's tennis team leaves Wednesday the 30th for Fresno to compete in 
the Conference Tournament. Taylor Galya, 12-2, enters the tournament as one of the favorites, though the women's draw has talent and depth.  Players need to reach the quarterfinals to qualify for the state tournament.
