Taylor Galya has begun the quest for the coming tennis season's championship with an outstanding showing in the International Tennis Association Norcal Regional Tournament.
She made it to the finals, where she lost 3-6, 7-6, (8-6), playing a tie breaker in lieu of a third set. Had she won this match she would have qualified, and received 350 dollars in air fare, for a tournament in Arizona in a couple weeks.
A great accomplishment for Taylor who has worked very hard in the summer to improve her tennis. She is poised to have a great season. Her record in the tournament was 5-1. She competed great in the tournament and she also defeated the number one seeded player in the semi-finals.
