HAWKS VOLLEYBALL TRAVELS TO RIVAL SAC CITY TONIGHT!

SACRAMENTO, Calif.-The Cosumnes River Hawks volleyball team's struggles continued this past week, as they remain winless in conference play at 0-2.  The Hawks look to change their fortunes later tonight on the road, when they travel to rival Sacramento City.

The Hawks will look to get themselves back on the right track later tonight, when they travel to the host Panthers of Sacramento City College.  The Panthers are currently also winless in conference at 0-2.  However, Sac City is one the top teams in the conference in kills with 495, so the match should prove to be a quality test for the young Hawks.  CRC's will counter, as it is one of the conference leaders in digs with a total of 640, with Sophomore #3 Mary Tamayo leading the team in digs with 160.  Head Coach Cassie Baxter says "I am expecting a good fight against SCC tonight.  We have been practicing in the small Gym to get used to the small venue and the lower ceiling.  I'm excited to see the Hawks compete!!!"

Tonight's match is scheduled for 6:30 P.M. in the Sacramento City College Gym.
