Recently, the CRC women's volleyball team went to Rivercats ballpark to reach out to potential students. The event was awesome. Cassie Baxter, head coach and three of her players, Jessica Winship, Catie Thompson, and Royletha Hudson, successfully reached over 500 people. The event drew at least 3,000 people. The ages ranged from infants to seniors. Many parents brought their high school aged children to the table asking for information. The application flyer with the location map and listings of our degree subjects was a huge interest to the students. With our four school baseball caps on display many could name all except our newest college, Folsom Lake.

The Rivercats organization was phenomenal! They greeted Cassie and her players at the door and escorted them to their table. Overall, Cassie believes this was a huge success. Thanks to the Rivercats for hosting our student-athletes to be a part of this exciting event. They had a blast!
