The Hawks tried to invade the Mustangs corral and got locked out of the pasture by scores of 25-12, 25-14, and 25-8 in a Big 8 matchup.
The Hawks had a tough time as they only had a .088 kill percentage in the three sets. The Hawks were led by Hannah Norris 8 kills and followed by Olivia Sowles 5 kills.
Lauren Smith had 13 assists for the Hawks in the match and she also contributed 3 three digs on the evening.
Justine Busse led the Hawks with 9 digs with Sowles six and Clarissa Pacheco contributing five of her own.
Both Smith and Sowles had service aces for the Hawks.
The Hawks drop to 5-17 on the season and play next on the road against Santa Rosa on Friday at 6:30pm.
