Sacramento, CA- The Hawks returned home with hopes to defeat Delta College and end their 3 game losing streak. After starting off the season with a win against Modesto, the Hawks have lost 3 straight to Folsom Lake, Sierra, and Santa Rosa. Cosumnes River was unable to protect their home court against the offensive attack by Delta College.

Cosumnes River College's hitters struggled to find any offensive rhythm until the third set. Destanie Elliott led the team with 4 kills on the night. The team looks forward to the hopeful return of Kelsey Brehm from injury in the upcoming week. Madison Jayne also was injured before the match and is waiting for a timetable for recovery.
