Hawks Unable to Overcome Folsom’s Home Court Advantage

Folsom, CA- Cosumnes River College took to the road to face the second-year program of Folsom Lake. The Hawks hung tight during set 1 but ultimately fell to the Falcons 16-25. Destanie Elliott led the offensive attack during set 1 with 3 kills. Rebakkah McLaughlin had 5 of her 10 assists during the first set. Cosumnes River lost set 2 by a score of 14-25 and regrouped in set 3 to earn 18 points during the last set on the night. The front row combined for 7 blocks during the match.

 

Up Next- The Hawks return home for a two-game home stand. On Wednesday, they face Sierra College (16-3) and on Friday they host Santa Rosa (11-5). Both matches will begin at 6:30 and be in the Clark Gym.
