Sacramento, CA- After losing to ARC in 3 sets earlier in the year, the Hawks looked to even the score against the Beavers. CRC was unable to pull out the victory, but did force a close 5th set against ARC. In the deciding 5th set, the Beavers took the victory 15-12 to take the match.
ARC came out strong and took the lead with a set 1 victory against the home team. CRC came back by taking both set 2 and set 3 to take a 2-1 lead against the Beavers. Unable to keep the lead, Cosumnes dropped set 4 to force the 5th set to determine the winner. In a back and forth set, the Beavers were able to finish out the game and take the victory against CRC.
Up Next- Cosumnes River College heads into its last week of regular season play to take on Diablo Valley College at home on Wednesday. This will be the last home game for the Hawks on the season. On Friday, the Hawks will end their season on the road against Sacramento City College. Both games start at 6:30.
