SACRAMENTO (10-1) - After a tough week against the Big 8 Conference, the Hawks look forward to Pink Night against Diablo Valley College.
Last season, the Hawks went 1-1 against the Vikings with both teams winning on their home court. This season, the Hawks look to sweep the season series and gain some momentum for the second half of conference play.
Each season, the Hawks wear pink during home matches in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The proceeds from Friday's match will be used as a donation towards the Side Out Foundation with all proceeds going towards breast cancer research. Donations will be accepted during home games as well as in the athletic office. Entrance costs and concession revenue will also be donated to the Side Out Foundation.
The Hawks travel to Lassen College on Wednesday to take on the Cougars in a non-conference match. This will be Cosumnes River's last non-conference match on the season.
