The Hawks beat the Panthers in the Big 8 Conference opener on Saturday

Sac City was defeated in their Big 8 opener at CRC 8-0 Saturday. The Panthers bats were never really able to get it going as they only had 2 hits in the game. 2B Taylor Fratto went 1-2 and SS Emily Murphy went 1-2 as well.

City will travel to DVC to battle with the Vikings on Tuesday.
