Chabot College (4-8) splits the season series with Cosumnes River Hawks (9-5). The Hawks had some major defensive lapses in this game that all led to a big 5 run inning for Chabot. Corey Potthoff and Brennon Berninger had good relief appearances for the Hawks. This allowed for a Hawks come back late in the ball game. 

Offensively, the Hawks put together 12 hits. Alex Crouch pulled the team closer in the bottom of the 8th inning with a 3 run homerun. Burle Dixon came up later the same inning just missing a 3 run homerun that would have tied the ball game. Hawks will start a 2 game series against Merced College (7-4) Thursday at 2 pm. The action will be at Conway Field.
