The Cosumnes River Hawks (11-10, 1-4 Big 8) lose to Diablo Valley College Vikings (9-9, 4-1 Big 8) with poor defense and poor late relief pitching. Josh Caldwell gave the team a quality start and came out of the game with the lead. The team rolled 4 double plays behind Caldwell, but failed to roll double plays in critical times of the game. The Hawks collectively made 4 late inning errors that led to a huge DVC 6 run 7th inning. The team will look to finish this three game series Saturday at DVC.
