The Cosumnes River College Hawks (14-11, 4-5 Big 8) come up short on what would have been a miraculous come back. The Folsom Lake Falcons (15-7, 3-6 Big 8) came out swinging putting up 10 runs in the first two innings of the contest. Nic Wilson came in to stop the bleeding for the Hawks. 

The Hawks started chipping away at the Falcons scoring 6 un answered runs. In the top of the 9th Brett Gieseke hits a two run blast to pull the team within 2 runs. With the tying run at the plate the Hawks would strike out and fall short of there come back. The Hawks will start of a new series starting Tuesday against Sacramento City College (17-6, 5-2 BIG 8).
