SACRAMENTO (2-28) - Hawks take conference opener against Panthers. CRC gets road win over SCC Panthers to open league play.

Josh Caldwell took to the mound for the Hawks. Six innings of work from Caldwell helped the Hawks to their first league win. Caldwell recorded 6 strike outs and allowed only 2 runs. Joe Pankratz came on in relief and earned his first save of the year. Pankratz recorded 3 strike outs during his outing.

Jeremy Kolb drove in 2 runs on the day bosting the Hawks offence. The Hawks also had RBIs EJ Brown, Clay Duval, and Alex Crouch. Burle Dixon Jr., Brett Graber, Griffin Selby, Duval, and Brown had hits helping the Hawks offense

Josh Caldwell was the winning pitcher. Joe Pankratz earned a save. Tanner Cunha was the losing pitcher.

CRC and SCC face off again tommorrow, Friday March 1st at Conway Field.
