SACRAMENTO (3-8) – The Hawks played their second game of their series with Folsom Lake College at Conway Field. The Hawks won the second game of the series 7-3.

Brett Graber was hot again, on offense, for the Hawks as he went 3-4 and scored twice. Griffin Selby was 2-4 and had three RBIs. Mark Aubrey was 2-5 and had an RBI. Ryan Barry drew two walks and had an RBI. Clay Duval added a hit and scored. Jorge Montoya earned two walks and was plated both times.

Brian Freitas was the starting pitcher for Cosumnes River. Freitas went 3.2 innings and recorded three strikeouts. Nic Wilson came on in relief. Wilson went 1.1 innings. Joey Pankratz would finish the game for the Hawks and recorded six strikeouts in four innings of work.

Pankratz got the win for the Hawks while Tyler Cochran got the loss for the Falcons.

The Hawks and Falcons will finish the series on Monday at Conway Field.
