Hawks’ Suspended Game Ends With Win

SACRAMENTO (3-21) – The Hawks returned home to finish a suspended game against Skyline College. The game started on February 1st and was halted due to playing conditions with the two teams tied at eight headed into to the top of the eleventh inning.

Burle Dixon boosted the Hawks offense. Dixon finished the game 3-5 with two walks, six RBI's and scored once. Essex Brown was also 3-5 with an RBI and scored twice. Dean Lucas had a pair of hits and an RBI. Clay Duval, Jorge Montoya and Joey Pankratz added hits in the game.

Alex Crouch started on the mound for the Hawks on February 1st. Crouch went 2.2 innings before the Hawks called upon the bullpen. Working in relief were Ethan Torres, Troy Davis, Jorge Garcia, and Griffin Selby.

Selby would get the ball on Thursday when the game resumed and earned his first win for the Hawks. Aiden Yarwood got the loss for the Trojans.

The Hawks and Trojans will finish this non-conference series this afternoon at Conway Field.
