SACRAMENTO (1-29) – The Hawks returned home to take on Folsom Lake College at Clark Court. The Hawks outscored the Falcons by seventeen in the second half en route to a 83-56 win.

Both teams won their last game. The Hawks won 72-59 over Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill on Friday while the Falcons won 87-68 over American River College in Folsom on Friday.

In the first half, the game would start slow for both teams. Initially, the Hawks struggled to get into a offensive flow until they started attacking the Falcons' zone with dribble drives. Getting to the rim and scoring (28 points in the paint for the game) allowed for threes later in the half. The Hawks strongly contested the Falcons' shooters to make shots difficult. In the second half, the Hawks were even stronger on both ends of the court. The Hawks ended the game with a season-high fifty rebounds. Marcus Robinson had a double-double snagging eleven points and ten rebounds. Khari Hutt had a game high twenty-five points on 10-of-18 shooting.

Samuel Cota had eleven points and 4 rebounds and Keilen Valdry had ten points, six rebounds and two assists.

The next game for the Hawks will be Friday as they take on San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton at 7:30 pm.
