Sacramento, CA

The Hawks completed their non-conference schedule with a sweep of Feather River College at CRC Stadium with a 6-0 win in game 1 and a 2-1 victory in game 2.

The Hawks produced 6 runs on 12 hits with the bats of Amber Wright (3 for 4), Kaitlin Pires (3 for 4 and 1 RBI), and Raechel Hooper (2 for 3 with 3 RBIs) providing all the support for Aimee Hutchinson to get her 9th win of the season on a 2-hit shutout.

Game 2 provided a little more drama as the Hawks squeezed out a 2-1 victory as Aimee Hutchinson pulled out a bases loaded save in the top of the 7th. The Hawks hitters were held to 5 hits with Lindsey Lambert going 2 for 3 and 1 RBI. Angelica Dark got the win for the Hawks.

The Hawks will begin conference play this Saturday March 12th with a doubleheader against Santa Rosa at CRC Stadium beginning at 12 pm. Weather may play a role in the weekend schedule, so check either GameChanger or CRC website for details.
