Game 1- Hawks 12 Lassen 4 6 innings

The Hawks had a total of 11 hits and 12 runs in game 1 vs Lassen today. After a 1,2, 3 top of the first from Ashleigh Berg, the Hawks jump right on the board with a walk by Amber Wright and a bunt base hit from Korina Krueg then a passed ball scored Amber Wright to start off the scoring. An Ashlee Kaiser walk extends the inning and a ground out by Cecilia Riviera pushes across the 2^nd run of the inning. The final run of the inning comes from a sacrifice fly from Taelor Ford.

Lassen scores 1 in the top of the 4^th keeping the score steady at 3-1. Looking to get back the run the Veronica Smith doubles in the bottom of the 4^th and is knocked in on a Hannah Flynn single.

The Hawks look to further extend their lead in the 5^th inning with back to back bunt base hits by Amber Wright and Korina Krueg, Veronica Smith doubles once again to score Amber Wright and Korina Krueg.  Continuing to add to the inning are singles from Seann Powell and Hannah Flynn.

With the Hawks leading 8-1 in the top of the 6^th Lasson looks to make a comeback.  Timely hitting leads to Lassen scoring 3 runs and chasing starting pitcher Ashleigh Berg from the game.

In the bottom of the 6^th Courtney Lozano walks, then pinch runner Cassandra Thomas Steals 2^nd, and then advances to third on a ground out and eventually scores on a passed ball.  With the bases loaded with Hawks Taelor Ford comes up with the game ending double.

The hawks had a 11 hits in game 1 with Amber Wright, Korina Krueg, Veronica Smith, and Hannah Flynn all going 2-3.

Ashleigh Berg got the win pitching 5.2 innings giving up 6 hits 4 runs 3 of which were earned and striking out 3.

Gabrielle Montaie came in for 0.1 innings striking out the only batter she faced.

Game 2- CRC 8 Lassen 0 6 innings 

In the bottom of the 2^nd the Hawks jump on the board after Cassandra Thomas Singles and scores Veronica Smith. To follow up Korina Krueg singles to score Cassandra Thomas and moves Amber Wright to 2^nd. With runners on 1^st and 2^nd Ashlee Kaiser singles to score Amber wright. Korina Krueg scores on a passed ball to end the scoring for the 2^nd inning.

The Hawks added to the lead with a Veronica Smith triple and a Hannah Flynn single to knock in Veronica Smith in the 3rd. With Devyn Nichols on first base Cassandra Thomas comes up big with the 2^nd triple of the inning. The Hawks lead 6-0 going into the 4^th inning.

In the 6^th inning the Hawks are able to score two more to run rule Lassen. Starting off the inning Cassandra Thomas collected her third hit of the day with a single to center. Korina Krueg singled to score Cassandra Thomas. With runners at 1^st and 3^rd Ashlee Kaiser reached base on an error and scored Amber Wright to end the game.

The Hawks once again had 11 hits in the game with Korina Krueg hitting 3-4, Cassandra Thomas 3-3 with a triple and Veronica Smith going 2-3 with a triple.
